Dr. Erica Elliott pioneer in environmental medicine. Author of Prescriptions For A Healthy House. Dr. EE started as a family practice doctor but didn't like "pill pushing" and ended up getting ill secondary to a "sick building," which changed the course of how she practices and writes about medicine. Dr. EE discusses the symptoms of toxicity from unhealthy environments and some natural answers to treat them. She describes a dramatic case of a woman who was treated as a psychiatric patient for severe major depression for years, which turned out to be a chronic gas leak in her home (she loved to cook and used the stove often). Dr. EE has a blog she invites you to read and share that deals with medical controversies. Dr. Elliott and Dr. Berkson have taught two conferences on dealing with, and conquering severe illness—in Santa Fe, and at the Omega Institute. You can read Dr. Elliott's blog (soon to be published in a book) here: http://www.musingsmemoirandmedicine.com

Internationally acclaimed nutritional medical expert. Dr. Gaby speaks on magnesium, oral vs. intravenous, controversies surrounding IV use and why the misunderstanding, how stress makes magnesium rinse out of the body, the difference between alternative and allopathic medicine, the role of Vitamin C in viral diseases, the environmental attack on Vitamin B6, the rise of fairly new Vitamin B6 deficiency diseases, the role of nutrients vs. dietary intervention (you can't take a lot of expensive and sophisticated nutrients and expect them to help without positive dietary changes), and why is it so difficult to find doctors that truly respect, understand and implement "natural" answers. Dr .Gaby discusses the reality of "sugar addiction" demonstrated by fascinating animal model experiments. Sugar cravings are real when consuming a relatively higher refined carb diet.

Dr. Berkson and Dr. Gaby have been life-long colleagues. They did their 1st rotation in integrative medicine together with Dr. Jonathan Wright (the father of bioidentical hormones) in 1977. They've been learning, respecting and laughing together ever since. Get Dr. Gaby's new book Nutritional Medicine at www.doctorgaby.com

Biofilms are communities of stuck-together microbes. They can do good, or bad. Resistant infections and diverse health issues from obesity, to ADHD to cognitive decline and cancer, as well as resistant candidiasis, are often due to nasty biofilms. These are often resistant to antibiotics and herbs. You need to know which "biome" is the focus. Specific strategies help safely break through the matrix and quorum sensing, and help allow your protocols to work. Hear a few patient stories of chronic illness and how they finally got well by addressing their biofilms.
