Melatonin is a versatile molecule.

Melatonin is synthesized by the pineal gland in the brain. But it’s not widely known that melatonin is such an important hormone. It’s made all throughout the body—in the gastrointestinal tract, retina, thymus, bone marrow, and by white blood cells called leukocytes.

Besides regulating sleep and our relationship with light and dark, melatonin wears a lot of other hats.

Melatonin is a power anti-oxidant, hormone protector and up-regulator of critical molecules like glutathione.

One important emerging role for melatonin is its huge influence over our immune system functions.

In this show you will learn.

  • The role of melatonin in fighting viruses.
  • What’s the melatonergic pathway.
  • Uses of melatonin in COVID.
  • Dose spectrum?
  • Types of supplements.
  • Melatonin as a natural aromatase inhibitor.
  • And more.

A good night's sleep will definitely put an energetic lilt our steps. Why? Pineal melatonin (the melatonin made in the brain) regulates mitochondrial melatonin. This runs your energy.

Healthy nocturnal release of melatonin makes your immune system respond healthfully and resiliently.

You’ve heard a lot about how cytokine storms drive very serious responses to COVID. Melatonin helps prevent this and in some cases is being explored to help treat this.

Cytokine storms damage the gut wall. It becomes excessively permeable (leaky gut). Then, more bad than good bacteria and gut-wall damage occur.  Nasty damaging molecules (LPS) cross the gut wall. Then this person becomes more and more vulnerable to a severe response to COVID.

This is a show that will give you a lot more helpful insight especially at this time.
